GGS To Be Major Sponsor of 2003
Easter Seals Office Olympix Benefit

YORK, PA --- As part of its traditional support of the annual Office Olympix competition to benefit Easter Seals, GGS Information Services will be among the major sponsors of this year’s upcoming event.

GGS will be providing $1,500 in funds to provide the food and refreshments for the occasion’s Picnic Supper, to be held during the May 15 event at the Wisehaven Banquet and Expo Center, in York. More than 200 persons typically attend the 3-hour long competition.

Last year, GGS fielded two teams in the event, which featured employees from local businesses competing in such competitions as a swivel chair race, music trivia contest and a driving contest using a cart with mismatched steering and wheels.

GGS was the top fund-raising team in the 2002 competition. The firm contributed more than $1,500 to the events’ overall goal of raising funds to support the various programs of Easter Seals in York County.

Easter Seals is a non-profit agency dedicated to increasing the independence of children and adults with disabilities incurred from birth defects, disease, or accidents.

The 2003 event is the 15th annual Office Olympix competition in York County, and is presented locally by ADECCO.
