GGS Employees Raise $1,000 for Local York County (PA) Food Bank

YORK, PA – The employees of GGS Information Services, 3265 Farmtrail Road, recently presented the staff of the York County (PA) Food Bank with a $1,000 donation check towards their work for the upcoming Holiday Season.Company representatives recently presented a symbolic over-sized check to Jeff Fisher, manager of the local operation.

The funds were raised by GGS employees at the company’s York headquarters location, With the effort being part of a traditional means of "caring and sharing" each year at the Christmas season.

Last year, GGS produced and printed a Holiday Family & Friends Cookbook, with the proceeds of $1,200 being presented to officials of the local chapter of the American Red Cross.

"Our goal each year at the Holidays, is to continue the support of organizations within our communities, who deal with those less fortunate or who require extra support in meeting the many social challenges which exist in today’s society," noted Paul Kilker, President of GGS.
